Polyx-Oil from Osmo is a clear, Hardwax Oil finish for interior wooden floors and furniture as well as timber paneling, ceilings, trim and plywood linings etc. Polyx-Oil is Osmo’s main flooring finish. 3032 Satin is the most widely used finish.

Osmo Polyx-Oils are a clear, durable, low maintenance, food safe oil and wax combination for interior timber flooring, as well as timber furniture including baby’s cots, bassinets and playpens. Also suitable for exposed timber beams, sarking, paneling and timber bench tops. Suitable for a variety of timber types – both hardwood and softwood – such as Pine, Rimu, Kauri, Macrocarpa, Oak, Beech, Eucalyptus, Jarrah and Douglas Fir (Oregon). Polyx-Oil, once fully cured, will not crack, flake, peel, blister or water mark and is stain resistant against wine, beer, cola, coffee, tea, fruit juices, milk and water.

Thin: A thinner version suited for highly resinous & oily timbers. (e.g. Eucalyptus, Kwila, Mahogany, Matai, Totara)

Rapid: Recoat in 5-6H (Under normal 23 c drying conditions). Suited to applications where 2 coats in one day is desired or in cooler weather.
